Jeanette Peace, bored with selling holidays in a retail environment, but with more
than ten years industry experience and having worked her way up the retail ranks
decided it was time to join Travel Counsellors and give herself and her career a
real go.

Already knowing an existing Travel Counsellor Jeanette found it easy to make the
transition into Travel Counsellor, “It did help me initially having known someone
who had made the change and hearing first hand of her experiences thus far, the
thing I wasn’t prepared for was the incredible support that I found from day one
from my peers and head office staff ... they bent over backwards to help me out,
make me feel welcome and I already have great friends as a result”.
Head Office Support
”Head office support is so important. They do our ticketing and invoicing, and this
takes pressure of us. We couldn’t function without them, they’re exceptional.”
“They’re so approachable and supportive and give us such confidence at the end of
the day.” But it’s IT support that puts a smile on Jeanette’s face. “I’m not the
most technical of people. But if I do have a problem they are so patient, so knowledgeable
and so good at explaining things.”
“When new technology is introduced to push us even further ahead of the opposition,
the training is excellent. Incredibly detailed, but presented and explained in a
way that anybody would understand.”
